Ethylene Converters - DEOXYL LE

ISOLCELL ITALIA has developed a new ethylene scrubber with a low energy consumption provided with a revolutionary heat recovery; this particular system minimizes the difference of temperature between the incoming and the outgoing air from the scrubber.

The DEOXYL removes the ethylene available in the atmosphere, by means of a system of forced air recirculation over a catalytic bed kept at an average temperature of 250°C.

The process, according to the reaction

C₂H>₄ + 3O2 => 2CO₂ + 2 H₂O

is characterized by high conversion efficiency of the catalyst, which is suitably devised for this purpose.

• the revolutionary system of heat recovery and air circulation minimizes the energy consumption and the immission of theat in the rooms.
• The rapid catalytic heating system reduces by 50 % the energy consumption during the starting of the scrubber.
• The power of an inverter which guarantees the nominal rate also with different counter pression.
• The possibility to change the rate by altering the connected rooms or the quantity of stored goods.
